Carlos Cruz Corpus

December 1, 1971 — October 8, 2021

Carlos Cruz Corpus and Tatiana Espinoza met on August 2007 through a friend named Angelica Benitez. On May 29, 2011, that’s where our journey began together. On September 1, 2012, we became parents of Jovan Corpus and that’s when Carlos’ life changed forever! He was a devoted father and partner always giving the best of himself to show us love and comfort. Just when he thought his life was great a second child was on its way! On February 17, 2015, he became a father to Allen Nhoel Corpus. On that day, he knew his life was complete. Carlos was full of life, he was caring, loving and most of all very giving. He always cared about everyone but himself. Always giving a helping hand to those in need. Anyone that met him knows that he left a print in their hearts. He was funny and enjoyed the outdoors. His favorite food was sweet bread. He liked listening to rock music and loved playing his guitar, even though he wasn’t much of a dancer he tried his best with his 2 left feet. Most of all he loved being a father; that was his favorite part.

This poem is for you Amor. Te Amo.

From parenthood and partnership.

The craziness, the fun.

Weekends full of family stuff and getting projects done.

Every day with my best friend and every time we kiss.

I love our life with you and me and us and all of this!

From Jovan, Daddy I Love You. I enjoyed the time that we had. You taught me many things and gave me great advice. I will forever cherish all of the memories we had. I will never forget you. You will always be in my heart.

From Allen, Daddy I Love You. I enjoyed the times we played together especially tickle monster. We hugged and laughed. I loved seeing you happy playing your guitar. I will miss you forever and you will forever have my heart.
