Nuria Munoz

Nuria D. Muñoz passed away at 4:00am on Friday January 24, 2020 at the age of 46 after her 9 year long battle with multiple myeloma(bone cancer). She passed away at UCLA Santa Monica. Nuria was born May 26 1973 in El Salvador. Though she never got the chance to apply/use it, she received an AA degree in Medical Assistance. Nuria was a single mother, who always did her best to provide for her two kids; whom, at the time of her passing were aged 22 and 23. She worked in plant sales for 17 years, she has always loved plants and nature and had quite a green thumb. Nuria lived life as a strong, independent woman who enjoyed simple pleasures such as gardening, dancing, chatting it up with friends or family (some friendships even grew strong enough to be considered family). Nuria was loved and appreciated by so many people, she had the effect of truly understanding people and could always be a listening ear, she would always maintain a fiery, positive spirit; no matter what life threw at her. She is survived by her two children, her sister, her niece, and many other family members and friends. Nuria was a bright spirit and we will always remember her as such, but now she is caring for the gardens of Heaven.
